THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT.

In connection with our customers' use of our Web site and services PSI-USA collects certain data and other information about its customers ("Customer Information"). Customer Information may include, without limitation, the following:
  1. Contact and Service Information. As a domain name registrar accredited by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers ("ICANN") and for other purposes in connection with our services PSI-USA collects certain data and information about you during the domain name registration process, including the full name, postal address, voice telephone number, fax number (where available) and email address of you, the person or entity on behalf of which you are acting, if any, the technical contact, the administrative contact and the billing contact for any domain name registered through us. PSI-USA may collect additional data and information from you that is maintained or required to be maintained in a domain registry database, that is used or required in connection with any domain registry services, or that is used or required in connection with the services, including customer support, that we provide. Such data and information may include, without limitation, any domain names you requested us to register, the names and IP addresses of the primary and secondary nameservers for such domain names, and the dates and times of registration, renewal or expiration of such domain names. In addition, PSI-USA may collect other data and information as may be required by a domain name registry or by ICANN in accordance with then-current applicable rules and policies. Furthermore, PSI-USA may collect data and maintain records of any activities and any oral, electronic or tangible communications between you and us or otherwise relating to our services.

  2. Financial Information. PSI-USA may collect and retain certain financial information from you, such as a credit card number, credit card expiration date, billing address and other account information (including dates and times of purchase of any services, dates, times and amounts of any payments and refunds and information regarding the means of payment).

  3. Web site use information: When visitors come to the PSI-USA Web site, we collect and aggregate information indicating, among other things, which pages of the web site were visited; the date, time and order in which they were visited; and which hyperlinks were "clicked." Collecting such information involves the logging of the IP addresses, operating system and browser software used by each visitor to the PSI-USA site. We may be able to determine from such information a visitor's Internet Service Provider and the geographic location of his or her point of connectivity.

  4. Cookies. PSI-USA and its third party advertising partners also use "cookies" - that is, small text files placed on a user's computer hard drive - to help us and such partners determine the type of content and sites to which a visitor to the PSI-USA site links, the length of time each visitor spends at any particular area of the PSI-USA site and the PSI-USA services visitors choose to use. Cookies also tell us and our partners which advertising a visitor has seen on our site. Essentially, cookies are a visitor's identification card for the PSI-USA computers, or servers, that placed them there. Cookies allow PSI-USA and our partners to serve you better and more efficiently, and to personalize your experience at PSI-USA's web site. Nevertheless, you should be able to control how and whether cookies will be accepted by your web browser. For more information on how to do so, please refer to the documentation accompanying your browser.

  5. Children. PSI-USA does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. If you are under 18 years of age, you may not use the PSI-USA site without parental consent.

USE OF CUSTOMER INFORMATION.

PSI-USA will not disclose, use, copy, distribute, publish, modify or otherwise process (collectively "Process") any Customer Information submitted by you in a manner incompatible with the purposes and limitations set forth herein. PSI-USA may share with third parties and Process or allow Processing by third parties of Customer Information as reasonably deemed necessary or useful by PSI-USA in connection with its services or other purposes not inconsistent herewith, except to the extent expressly prohibited by applicable laws. Keep in mind that, while PSI-USA encourages all third parties involved - including but not limited to registry operators, ICANN, PSI-USA's affiliates, advertisers and other commercial partners - to adhere to our policies regarding the privacy of our customers and to otherwise handle personal information in a responsible manner, we cannot and do not assume any responsibility for any actions or omissions of third parties, including the manner in which they use information received either from PSI-USA or independently. Nevertheless, in the event that you encounter any third party associated with, or who claims association with, PSI-USA who you feel is improperly collecting or using information about you, please contact contact@psi-usa.info, and we will be happy to forward your message to the third party. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, PSI-USA may:

PSI-USA may disclose Customer Information registry operators and to ICANN and permit further disclosure and Processing thereof by such entities (including their designees, assignees and agents) in a manner consistent herewith, and provide interactive, query based public access or otherwise make publicly available (including, without limitation, through our or any other party's Whois service or any similar service) Customer Information, and permit further disclosure and Processing thereof in a manner consistent herewith. PSI-USA may further disclose Customer Information to, and permit further disclosure and Processing thereof by, third parties which have entered into a bulk access agreement with PSI-USA pursuant to our then-current bulk access policies.

  2. Agents and Service Providers. PSI-USA may engage other companies or individuals to perform various services, such as processing credit card payments, providing marketing assistance, providing customer service, sending you email and postal mail, removing repetitive information from customer lists, and analyzing data. These companies and individuals may have access to Customer Information in connection with performing their functions. PSI-USA may disclose Customer Information to, and permit further disclosure and Processing thereof by, our contractors, delegates, successors and assignees in a manner consistent herewith.

  3. Disclosure required by law or for the protection of PSI-USA and others. In some circumstances, PSI-USA may be required by law, court order, or other governmental authority to disclose information about you. In addition, such disclosure may be necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of PSI-USA, our customers, or others. This may include sharing information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

  4. Sharing for information services. PSI-USA may disclose directly to certain third parties Customer Information, and permit further disclosure and Processing thereof, for targeted marketing, information and other purposes in a manner consistent herewith, including, without limitation, to provide notices and information affecting your account or our services, as well as to provide general information that may be of interest to you, including newsletters, surveys, contest and sweepstake announcements, and information about our or our business partners' service or product offerings.

  5. Service improvements. PSI-USA may disclose and Process Customer Information for purposes of monitoring and improving our operations. PSI-USA also Processes Customer Information in aggregate form to build higher quality, more useful online services by performing statistical analyses of the collective characteristics and behavior of our customers, and by measuring demographics and interests regarding specific areas of the PSI-USA web site. We provide statistical information based on this data to advertisers, affiliates and other current and potential business partners. We also use the aggregate data to inform these third parties as to the number of people who have seen and clicked on links to their web sites.

  6. Business Transfers. As PSI-USA continues to develop its business, we might sell or buy businesses or assets. In such transactions, Customer Information is generally among the transferred assets. In addition, if another company were to acquire all or substantially all of PSI-USA's assets, Customer Information would be among the acquired assets and accordingly would be disclosed to and Processed by such other company.
